Toulouse quickly out of the starting blocks.

The desire to move the ball was evident from the off. Even if the opening two or three minutes saw a lot of ball movement 'too close' to their own line, as noted by Ugo Mola during in-match interview, the urge to 'jouer' was palpable.

And soon enough, the 'go forward' arrived, supplied by Meafou and Marchand up front, or Gourgues and Capuozzo in the backs. Incidentally, the lastest update on the Meafou transfer saga has the player leaning more towards staying in the pink city of Toulouse, rather than joining the pink soldiers of Stade Francais.
