Top 14 table has a certain familiarity to it, with one or two surprises.

Let's start at the end.
Round 5 of this Top 14 weekend finished in the pouring rain at Montpellier last night, in the Stade de la Mosson (the local football stadium).
You may remember that the pitch at their usual home ground, the Septeo stadium (it has had many iterations over the years), cut up badly in the season's opener against Pau. It is currently being relaid, hopefully in time for the fixture against Castres on October 31st.
The stadium was clearly not full last night, and having checked the attendance, I can report that 5,667 worthy souls turned up to the unfamiliar venue, in the rain, with the game live on Canal Plus. It made for a somewhat soulless end to another scintillating weekend of Top 14 action.
